The United States Marine Corps West Coast Composite Band performing at the 2011 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Bandfest on Thursday, December 30th 2010.
This fine band is composed of four Marine bands from Southern California - the Marine Band San Diego from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego; the Third Marine Aircraft Wing Band from Marine Corps Air Station, Miramar; the First Marine Division Band from Camp Pendleton; and the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Band in Twentynine Palms.
The band members are fully combat-trained and prove that they are as proficient with their musical instruments as they are with their weaponry.

  • This Poolee ships out in January I am truly honored that I've made the choice to become one of the few and the proud

  • I'm poole and i ship out in march. I just graduated from high school. I also play the trumpet I was 5th chair symphonic band my senior year. I'm didn't choose band as one of my options but i think i want to try and see if i can make it. The only problem is that i my private lesson teacher at the time was telling me i need to change my ambisher so i can get more range and endurance and better tone in the upper range (5th line f# and up) do you think i have a chance of making it.

  • What a great way to commemorate the true spirit of the Marines!
