@nagyizee naaw most people don't get to take off on their own on an introductory flight. Looks like you did just fine. I think a novice mistake is forgetting to enjoy the flight then throwing out random youtube insults to compensate.

I meant to write (type) "Cessna"....

I guess it's only Cessn 150/172 that the PIC should ALWAYS have (1) hand on the throttle and (1) on the yoke during take off to insure that the throttle stays at full power (climb out) power? That's what I was taught....

It was at Sundance Flying Club in Palo Alto, I don't remember the instructor's name, but you should contact the club on phone and they will schedule a flight for you.

as I remember I payed 160$, but because I was with a friend (he payed also) we have flown 2 hours - one a student pilot and one as passenger, so it worth it :D
