I have just found this song by Daniel and have sent it to my friend in Australia, I took her over to Meenbanad in 1969 her only visit to ireland also to Gweedore, she loved this song. DANIEL SINGS IT BEAUTIFULLY.

I am not Irish, but I have been to Dungloe and all over Donegal. I just love Donegal, and I can't wait for summer to come when I visit again. I usually stay in Falcarragh. Enough of that, so back to the music !! This is a great post, and I thank you for sharing it.

@kate285 thanks Kate yes it does seem a while since we met here hope your well i.m fine , i have slowed down video making because finding the right material audio and visual is getting harder and when i do come up with something the copyright men have a dig at me never mind i will keep trying , this type of song is beautiful to work with --trich .

im from burtonport, which is 5 minutes from dungloe, and 5 minutes from Kincasslagh, where daniel grew up. my father use to be in a band with daniel when they were younger, touring England, before he got famous. i heard some funny stories about him growing up!

hi rocker15 thats interesting i think Daniel is a great singer and sings from the heart but i seem to get mixed feeling from others what is your stand on the matter .?
