Great adverts there and I remember the track you mentioned that was first released in 1988 in the opening ad, the Fiat Uno. The Kleenex ad dates from 1986, a tearjeaker of an ad and I also remember one of the three Cadbury's Creme Egg ads that tells us about star signs.

Always good to hear "The Race" by Yello. And any version of "Float On", come to that.
Might that Plax v/o style still have been wholly unironic, even as late as that?
