It's that time, time to come on and feel the noise, to bang your head until metal health drives you mad! That's right! It's time for Metal (and rock) That Sounds Like Other Metal (and rock), the spectacular nineth edition of the series! Sit back and get ready to rock!

NOTE: The main riff of Megadeth's '1000 Times Goodbye' was actually written some seven years earlier as a song called 'Millenium Of The Blind' for the album Youthanasia (hence the 1994 date). However, this song failed to make the final cut and languished in obscurity for a decade. The song Millenium Of The Blind finally made its appearance on the remaster of Youthanasia, released in 2004. However, the main riff of the song (featured here in the video) was recycled for the album The World Needs A Hero, where it became the main riff of the song '1000 Times Goodbye', hence the '2001' date.
