Spong is just too gun-shy. This fight should have finished in the first round.

I think Kyotaro is the exception. Most japanese fighters throw punch kick combos..Hell thats where the the dutch get there whole style from anyways....

@wubs23 to be honest,asian fighters fight bigger man 80% of the time,u have to be on the defensive and not let yourself open.when size is perfectly in weigh and height then westerner run for his life.

Why do all Japanese fighter make single or double attacks, but never combo's?
Their kicks are most of the time pretty strong, but don't do a punch combo before them, or after a punch don't finish with a lowkick..
Almost as if they are still doing karate ;)

this is how you deal with masato , you give him no room to dance around you and get cheap points , this is why i think that spong is the most talented fighter in k1 today , he just needs to get used to his new weight but when he does i promise you he will be the new mr perfect !
