Cheap RC Electronics Here: http://www.r2hobbies.com/eng/categories.php?PARTNER=experimentalrc

This is the first video in a two part series about learning to build and fly your own radio controlled plane. It is also my first video. At some point this winter, I plan to redo this mini-series now that my videoing skills have improved.

  • Hi! Great work. Must appreciate your talent.

I visited your website and checked for plan pdf but there is no "The Foam Club" link available. Are you still giving away the pdf?

    Thanks

  • @mithunchopda I recommend you try the Blu-Baby primary trainer on rcgroups. It is very similar to the foamcub.

  • how you draw your plans

  • I use google sketchup.

  • ok first this i got to say nice video i would rate it 5 star but ur going to get a 4 star

im hopping over time you stop with all them ramdom sounds and also 1 main thing you need to do is sort out the voulme as when your talking i have to max out my sound and then as soon as them random sounds comes i have to keep lowering it and increasing the volume so try get that fixed for future videos

  • Hey, thanks and this was my first video, I was having a bit too much fun with the random sound effects and I think I've pretty much got the volume sorted out.

  • very nice, is the foam you use Depron?

  • Thanks for pointing towards rcgroups.com.

  • GREAT job of explaining process - that's hard to do! I'm going to show this to my grandson who LOVES to build things.

  • excellent video...excellent channel. Im a fellow scratchbuilder and instant subscriber. Really....great instructionals!

  • Thats pretty cool man. Keep it up.

  • how PDF size?

  • nice plane you got there, slow and small so you can fly it indoor.........

  • Thanks for the video, I think you did a pretty good job explaining clearly how to build this plane. Good job!

I would only like to point out that people should use extreme caution when cutting with a blade this sharp. You made me cringe a little at 4:42... always cut away from you and make sure no fingers are in the way of the blade should it slip or over cut.
