They reach maturity at different ages, depending on genetics, temps, and food they're fed.
My site says when I will ship. It depends on the weather.

@skyethefilmeditor1 She becomes gravid (egg-bearing), not pregnant, yes. About a month til laying, about 2-3 months til hatching, depending on your temps.

does a female crested gecko always loose her tail when first mating?

@fallentoturtle No. I've never seen a gecko lose a tail during mating. This gecko had no tail well before this breeding season.
