A vid I made of my favorite horse breed! The Friesian! DUH! LMAO! Yes, I used the same music as I did in my "The Sport of Equestrianism" vid. I thought it went really well with my Friesian vid considering both are so powerful! Well anyways, please rate, comment, and enjoy!!! :D

  • The music is perfect for this display of horse and horsemanship.

The ancestors of these great horses must have been ferocious in battle. Can you imagine fifty of these, side-by-side coming across a meadow at you, as you try to stand your ground with a wooden shield and short sword?

  • @Aphidboy i can read, but give me one good explanaion then to the question why a friesian horse is better for dressage than for jumping?

And by the way, wikipedia is a non-trustworthy website because people like you can go on that website and edit stuff other people wrote. So who knows you didn't write that piece about about friesians yourself. there's no way of knowing.

  • does anyone know how this song is called????It is a very beautiful song and the video is beautiful too.

  • They are very exceptional:) it's a very impressive video, it's sooo the friesians melody, just loving it, got one of my own, they are just wonderful^^

  • @xaddyy1992 Read the damned Wikipedia entry History of Frisian Horses. You can read, can't you?

  • @Maggot2607 You must be some breeder if you don't know the history of your breed.

Did you read the Wikipedia entry? My first message here was about Friesians used in the 12th Century as war horses. Apparently you didn't bother to READ that. But some Friesians in the early 20th Century were almost as big as Percherons. Take a look at Alva 113 if you don't think so. I grew up riding and working Percherons on a ranch in Montana in the '50s and '60s. I know something about horses.

  • @Aphidboy I'm sorry my friend, it's wrong. They are NOT war horses, they are physically incapable of carrying a guy in armour. Besides the Fresians ANCESTORS were a fuckload stronger than the modern ones. You didnt say this before.

  • @Maggot2607 Do you know what Wikipedia is? Check "History of the Friesian horse" entry and you will see: "Ancestors of the modern Friesians were used in midieval times to carry knights to battle . . ." and ". . . continued Spanish expansion into the Netherlands, which had its Friesian warhorse."

  • @Aphidboy Sorry, you are wrong, I breed them. They were working horses. Army Horses are big Shire Horses and Irish Draughts.

  • @xaddyy1992 Look up Friesian Horse History on Wikipedia. You are wrong on two major points in only five sentences. That must be a record.
