He enjoyed his noteriety!

I agree 100%

We can only guess of course, but Mr Arnold almost certainly saw a Military Test Jet. His sighting was confirmed by others who also saw these planes. They seemed to have been a version of the 'Flying Wing'.

Ho-229.

Kenneth Arnold if your still alive would like to talk to you. You interviewed some one about August 13th 1994 over Vegas. I may have witnessed the same thing with him. In either case I need to talk to you please contact me.
-
I believe what he saw could have been the military's answer to the German prototype Ho IX VI flying wing. They look incredibly similar.

Alas we had the dingbat reporter who called Kenneth's sighting "flying saucers". And sure enough flying saucers is what people saw from then on. People.
As a result Kenneth's model died. It hasn't been reported since, has it?
Kenneth's original model needs a name, doesn't it? The Boomerang Mountain Skipper perhaps? Somewhere out there the model name is written down in ET patent rights. ET retired it I guess. Pity.

This is great. But it's going a bit too fast, isn't it? Just like old silent movies move too fast. The voices here are a bit too high and fast. I guess it's a mismatch between old tape recorders and today's tape recording technology.
Anyway this could be slowed down a bit to the right speed?

The craft drawn loks very much like some of the Northop's flying wing designs (that were being tested just about that time) or possibly captured WW2 German Horthen Ho-229 (also known as Gotha Go-229) fighter bomber (if any airworthy frames were captured in the operation Paperclip). Another plausible explaination is that the whole story was invented by US intelligence (which would make Arnold theis associate) in order to confuse the Soviets about the direction of US airspace research is taking.
