I-790 is a 2½ mile interstate linking the New York State Thruway (I-90) with downtown Utica. It is duplexed with NY 5 for its entire length, and forms a quadruplex with NY 8 and NY 12 (one of only two in the state) near downtown. Video recorded 12/19/2011.
I went this way coming back from Albany. It's an interesting route NY 5 takes from Herkimer Road to the 8/12 interchange. I admire how I-790 was built around the Thruway.
