A short story done by a television crew on the tigers gym before people came to know about its fighters - the requirement of the story was for the awareness of kickboxing as a means of social benefit and health / fitness - well yeah so we opted to pose for the cameras. For more on MMA in India visit http://www.tigersgym.com

  • Martial arts supposedly originated in India.

  • It would be great to see an Indian in MMA.

  • why did you take the stupid western martial art? you have the kalaripayattu, i am from Europe and i train kung fu.

  • @FahadRyu you don't have to be on drugs.. bas rutten's training is enough to make an impression..

  • i can beat the hell out of them all, im on drugs and on bas rutten training.

  • @lazy702622

    yes definately.

it's pretty much as simple as if you keep fighting or sparring with the same person for awhile, after the 3rd round or so, you have an understanding of his moves, techniques, patterns of attack, and you also somewhat learned their moves they attacked you with.

it's like this how fighters influence each other, just as the different asian nations which constantly had battles with each other influenced each other too

  • @BoxerMonkey You lefted out Vietnam and Malaysia. Vo Tudo(vaw tuyaw) which means free fighting, vietnams almost extinct kickboxing style learned from the Khmers centuries ago with native viet elements. and malaysias Toi Moi. All south east asian nations warred and fought each other learning and stealing each others techniques, hence why they all look so similar. its a great thing isnt it! a art born from trial and error.

  • @Intifadark ------------>U got to go to the villages to find original. If u want to see "Indian" Martial Art kick box, u can find it in Myanmar in the form of Lethwei more than in India.....which is sad.

India takes its heritage for granted :( U will find guys carving their lover's names w/ knifes in 2000 year old monuments.

Indians are also raving lunatics for that "Imported" label. ANything imported automatically attracts a following.

  • I can't understand... In India you have one of the most effective martial arts in the world... and you wastes your time with a stupid yankee sport like kick boxing!? At the point you can try the muay thai, at least is serious...

  • adithada is kickboxing, it was regarded as the fighting form of the Vanaras (monkey warriors) and other countries where Hanuman (king of the vanaras) was worshipped all have kick boxing arts, burma, cambodia, laos, thailand
