I wouldnt expect this cover to be the same as the Jefferson Starship original version. (Otherwise what would be the point??) Anyways I loved the original and thought this version was pretty good as well, with its own style.

Jefferson Starship originally performed this song on their 1975 #1 Billboard hit album Red Octopus. Marty Balin from this band wrote this song which is said to have been the driving force behind the album going #1. Imo, Starship's version is much better than this one. This one sounds too little girlish for me. Check it out. Listen to the vocal dynamics of the arrangement; it's brilliant.
