Hmm... A relatively recent game. Music is an obvious good trait from it, gameplay is give or take/hit or miss/love it or hate it (or feel completely buh about it).

Not nearly enough love for XII.

Sure the people are hard to understand, but at least they don't toss around 20th century colloquiallisms like Tales does.

While where on that, Sakuraba should listen to Sakimoto's synth brass and take some freaking notes.

No. They are done by the same composer (Hitoshi Sakimoto) however, which is why they may sound similar.

aren't most of FFXII's soundtracks from FF Tactics but remastered?

FFXII had some really great music. The game was pretty fun. I never did complete my bestiary though. I was to lazy to go around and get all the rare monsters. That's the very last thing I had to do in the game to. Also Yiazmat really sucked to fight. I beat him, but it wasn't fun.
