Amersham Fair Organ Museum (Ted Reed's Collection) - one of those places that's tucked away that you really DO have make an effort to go to! Two 89-key Gavioli's from different eras, the 89-key Marenghi organ from the Kursaal Gallopers Southend-on-Sea Essex, a Hooghuys, Weber Unika, guest organs and much more. Always a friendly crowd and a good cup o' tea!

Hi. I can't believe this magical place is somewhere I used to hang out. I will be rushing over there as soon as I can to have a look. Thanks so much for this - I learned something new today.

I've lived within 5 miles of Amersham for at least 45 years and never knew or heard of this place. I can't wait to go but will have to as I've just missed this years last date. Thanks for posting this - very enjoyable.

It's nice to hear 'Happy Birthday' being played but my birthday isn't until tomorrow.

I can think of no better comparison between French and German organs than 1:02-3:00 in your video. It is like day and night! Without resorting to postive and negative comments, I guess you could say the Gavioli has a "friendly" tone, while the Ruth is more "majestic". But of course this is just one personal way to describe it.
