People tend to carry the accent of those that taught them to speak. Hence why most folks from India use British pronunciations of English words.
By the way, if you haven't read "Ishmael" or the "Story of B", you're missing out

A stunning, powerful and visionary piece of communication. Well done whoever you are. The world needs to hear more messages like this one. Theres been far too much SOMA handed out over the years. Great directing. Great camera work. Love the lighting. Awesome performance from the monkey. Very studied and well crafted. Thespis of Icaria would be very pleased indeed.
