I support Occupy Wall Street, because they're not just blindly fighting corporations. They along with many Americans have seen the corruption of the corpocracy. You know, anti-OWS people will say, well then don't shop at Walmart. Don't support corrupt companies, but that's hard to do when we're dependent on many of them. We don't want to get rid of companies, we just want them to respect workers, respect the environment, and support the 99%, not the elite 1%. It doesn't trickle down from them.

I thought it was at 40th street so i ended up arriving at 7 oclock :(. people took pictures of my sign aleast"GREED is wanting the world, LOVE, is having the world". It is a very powerful statement for getting the other 99% it seems. i live in long island so i'm not familiar, if one of yall could be my friend ad help me out next time that would be lovely

Occupy defined in a few words! College drop outs and grads who realized upon graduation they had to work and pay taxes. The Occupy losers cant's stand they idea of work so they get a "job" working for Soro's et al protesting others success for the yearly wage of stale bagels, spoiled yogurt, STD's and the screaming shits! The other half of Occupy is made up of trust funders and rich idiots who feel guilty for their "unearned" wealth! Stupid is as stupid does.

Don't vote for corporatists. In the absence of any candidates who DON'T take corporate money, withhold your vote. Better to send a message that we DON'T vote for their kind.

I'd say the corporations and big companies are the problem. They are hierachical undemocratic institutions whose sole motive is profit. A corporation is by its very purpose unable to behave ethically. They have to be paired down or abolished altogether. Remember - it is corporations that control the means production and will happily put 100 of 1000s out of work if doing so increases profits for share holders.

@justanotherpeasant No, I don't. There needs to be a better way that these companies do business on a large scale, so that people are treated ethically everywhere, but the hard part is getting past the old human problem of greed. We're dealing with a human problem, and as long as greed exists these issues will keep popping up. Nevertheless, OWS has been very self aware of this selfish problem in all of us, and so the movement I feel is more about shedding light, and that's still positive.

How about the wealth and health and resources of people in other countries, does occupy respect that or do you only want a bigger cut of what your corporations and military takes from others?
