This mission is MUCH easier than the one where you originally see that Boo with the racing helmet. Come to think of it, why would a Boo even need a racing helmet? He can just go through whatever it is that's about to crash into him.

Also, those skulls near the finish line are pretty fun to just stare at. They move their jaws in unison.

As far as game design goes, going through anything would be too powerful in a race. You'd just go in a straight line towards the finish.

Of course, you could explain it away in saying that Mario is not used to being a Boo and that he only knows how to go through those glass walls.

When you clear a mission for the first time, the Star will be solid and gold. After you clear that mission and you go for it again, the Star will be clear.

It's to tell you that this Star won't count towards your total.
