Red Hot Chili Peppers "Californication" Guitar Solo

I could have probably played this a bit better with more practice (of course), but I don't think it's too bad! ;D Before learning this solo one day last week, I had hardly ever picked up a guitar before...it was fun! =D

My friend made this guitar for himself in a shop class that he had in high school...it's oak with a maple neck and a rosewood fretboard!

I checked this one out 2. You have a great memory for these songs. I hope you don't get any negative comments because you play wonderfully. This song isn't fast and you nailed it with feel. Awesome job. Hope you keep playing guitar as well as bass. I'm a fan. Take care.

I like the sound. I had one little thing that you could change for a better vibrato.... Rather than 'rocking' your finger up and down the string (like you would on a fretless and do in the video) try doing a smaller bend back and forth, a small bend oscillation gives a nice vibrato :)
