I'm Ryan Wrecker, a radio personality in Lima, Ohio. In a recent Lima City Council vote, the city decided to pass a resolution to oppose House Bill 14 in the state of Ohio. I don't think pit bulls should be discriminated on based on their breed and based on their looks. As a pit bull owner, I'll do my part to stand up for the breed, and this video is one of my parts.

Support the animal and take the owner to task. Don't let anyone get away with this type of discrimination and use your voice to reach out to your congressmen and your councilman to set things right.

  • Opps meant to say professional "organizations" not studies at the end of the 2nd line. FACT. In Denver 97% of the MEDIA reported dog bites involved "pit bull" type dogs but when the researcher looked at the documented dog bites in the City of Denver (which has a ban) ONLY 2.6 of the documented dog bites involved so called "pit bulls". Fair and represented reporting? No wonder some people are so ignorant on this issue BUT the politicans should KNOW BETTER they are Supposed to be media savvy

  • @Fayclis Hey thank you very much for the support on this. I just posted a new video in response to the passing of HB14. Please preview it and give me your thoughts

  • Well said Ryan. I loved the passion you had in the video.

  • Politicans are such cowards and all because of media's need to get "hits". The facts and studies are OUT there. LOOK UP the THREE studies in THREE different countries by THREE different professional studies. Look up ONE of them called "Is there a difference? Comparison of golden retrievers and dogs affected by breed-specific legislation regarding aggressive behavior". The ANSWER in ALL studies is NO! Well done Rick. YOU have a new fan as this 21st century witch hunt must end. Kudos.

  • @RyanWrecker WELL SAID MAN! if i wasn't in the U.K i'd give you a high 5 and cold beer! but i can't so i liked instead ha ha peace

  • Two more wins today in Senate Ryan. :-). We are making headway and I hope your city counciller see the light.

  • Well said Ryan (: I dont even live in ohio but I do own a pitbull and as we all know, there GREAT dogs. Bad owners are the problem, not the dogs !

  • One thing I must say I didn't like was the change in what type of Felon could own a dog in Ohio..from 5 years and dropping it to 3..especially in light of the fact that it is the CRIMINAL ELEMENT that makes the breed look bad.

  • Thanks For the support on this issue, I wish more Celebs would speak out ...

  • Well done
