@we3575 No they now have alot of our tech, all becasue of American Businesses going over there. Just look at GE, they have alot of our miitary tech involved in their business and guess what, they now have several company's inside of China. It was bad enough when their spies were were in several business in the US but hey why don't we just move over there and give it away. Their our secrets not anybody eleses our taxes paid for the research. Were getting ripped off, time to wake up America...

So originally around 750 were going to be built but stopped at around 183 our taxes were diverted to drone warefare in Iran and Iraq and Afgan. Why, our tax money was earmarked for fighters piloted by human beings that can deciede right from wrong. No pilots, they control us becasue they control the air. We want our planes not large RC POS's. that the NWO can use against us. "Don't Tread on Me"

@we3575 Well they just got their first aircraft carrier operational and its an old Soviet-era mechine so...yeah XD Also heard that another theory is that they bought the schematics for the rejected Russian 5th gen fighter project (Mig 1.44) and built the J-20 based on that.

To be fair we really shouldn't riff on China that much. They have really progressed remarkably much in terms of economic development but given the huge scale of their armed forces modernization will be sloooooow.

@NINJAinTIGHTS Well, to be fair the PAK looks like an F-22. From what I've heard the Chinese either bought or stole the F-117 that was shot down during the Kosovo conflict. It's just a rumor and if it was true the Chinese government would never declassify information. But, the J-20 may just have 20+ year old American stealth haha. That last sentence made my day! :D

@we3575 Yeah the J-20 looks like a wierd mash up of the PAK and F-22. China most likely stole some schematics for both aircraft and is currently trying to mash the up together. And as we all know blind copy/paste-ing always works out so well XD

Oh and I forgot they still don't have proper jet engine tech to power the damn thing.

@NINJAinTIGHTS Yeah, the US Air Force only ordered 185 or so F-22's. It's the first operational 5th gen aircraft and is very costly, so as time goes on newer planes and technology will become cheaper. If F-22's didn't cost as much as they would have been bought and manufactured at double the amount... perhaps even triple. Between the F-22 and J-20 I have no doubt the F-22 will be on top. China isn't known for fantastic fighters. The PAK-FA looks like a decent adversary though.

@we3575 Well they did stop F-22 production after only 200 (or so) planes were made. Even given the 5th gen nature of the jet that's kinda low so I think the F-35 will also be taking some of the 22's role as an air-superiority fighter. Either way until the J-20 and PAK-FA become operational nothing will be able to compare to those two anyway.
