This car competed in a 320 ci class for DIRT cars. Even with the cu in. limit, a lot of these cars were as fast if not faster than their big block counterparts. Haenelt ran this car on Sat. nights at Lebanon Valley in upstate N.Y. and was very competitive , although it did break often. That said. having a V6 running in this class was very interesting and made Haenelt a crowd favorite.
had no idea someone attempted to race at DIRT Mod with a V6 engine. The old NASCAR Busch Series ran V6 engines, always sounded like a sworm of angry bees

I remember that! All kinds or series were experimenting with V-6 power, including what was the Busch series in NASCAR.
