Sounded more to me like he felt great joy hearing some children, including his daughter, singing the part in the song "Imagine" that says to imagine there are no religions. I can see how that would make an atheist father feel proud just as a christian father might feel pride hearing his child sing "Jesus Loves Me" I do, however, believe that teaching children things like religion or politics before they have the skills to fully understand what they are learning DOES create "dancing monkeys".
