Vancouver Whitecaps FC's reign as USL First Division champions came to a disappointing end on Saturday afternoon, as they suffered a 3-1 second-leg defeat at Canadian rivals Montreal Impact to lose the 2009 USL-1 Championship Series 6-3 on aggregate.

Red Card was NOT BS. Keeper commits the first foul ( which should have been carded for DOGSO in the first place).

Mr. Gantar clearly applied the advantage when the ball ended up on the next Vancouver player who was BLATANTLY taken down (and again, another DOGSO situation).

In this case, according to the FIFA Laws Of The Game, a DOGSO MUST be DEALT with a RED CARD, period !

@emiliomundula u dont have to use acronyms and other methods to sound like you know whats up... im a ref too and I couldn't care less about that shit. Yes a penalty for the first one earlier is good but it should have equaled up. The ref is an idiot, simple as that. I don't care anymore, montreal can suck my dick. We are in the MLS and i think the games today actually isnt it? So monetreal is gonna get pounded by the caps.

It appears a foul big time. Still, it's too far away to deem if it was indeed a very powerful body check or if the amount of force was within the LOTG. I know the Official personally and if he didn't call it only means that for him the amount of force was just fine or there was no grounds for even blowing his whistle.
