Celebrating our differences can only happen when BOTH sides can accept and respect the alternate opinions between the two lifestyles. Homophobia is an incredibly weak copout and argument. Gay men stereotypically, since they have more female hormones than stright men, tend to be smart, career driven and responsible members of society, yet they are overusing a very primitive and intellectually lacking argument against those who do not share or support their lifestyle. Acceptance works both ways.

Why do I get a -1. I am speaking the truth. Straight men, and especially straight family men, find hosmexulaity repulsive. It's not a knock on gays. They are who they are, however the race card for Gays is the word Homophobia. It's nonsense. Are you telling me that for a straight male to be grossed out by physical intamacy between men just cannot possibly happen? This is a prime exmple of Hollywood using a Marine, like they did with a Cowboy, and make a point that Macho stereotypes are closeted.

I initially thought that he kissed Kevin Spacey becuase he was so distant from his son he wanted to see how he could reach him. I guess I'm so old school. These days if you disagree with homosexuality you're a homophobe. After all, NO ONE could just be repulsed and offended by homosexuality, they MUST be AFRAID of it and gay themselves. No way you can simply disagree with it. Bullshit.

Col. Frank Fitts is gay, has been gay his whole life, he hates himself as he also hates gays, at the end of the movie he shoots Lester for fear that his only son will be corrupted by homosexuality.
