Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the graphics either, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly because it has a textbook sorta theme, which is why it probably resembles drawings or something. I doubt I make sense to you. xD But either way, it fits the whole "story/history textbook theme" and is very unique in my opinion.

PS3 Exclusive huh? I better get this game then. It is very rare to find Tactical-Turn-Base games now a days. The last Tactical-Turn Based game I played was Jagged Alliance 2. This is a very interesting game! But it seems it has childish graphics though.
