I love indie. But withou metal, i wouldnt even know what is music. I started getting interested in music because of metal. But whats wrong wuth indie? They dont really se powercords that almost most heavy metal guitarists use. Dude some indie bands like beirut(indie/folk) use brass instruments and strings. Guitars are not the best instrument in the world... It really depends.
