In recognition of World Water Day (March 22) and National Water Week (March 21-27) a group of renowned, writers, composers, producers and artists have gathered together to create an original anthemic piece of music called 'For Love Of Water' in order to raise awareness and inspire action on water issues that are affecting each and every one of us daily.
The song is recently recorded with an impressive line-up of South African and international artists. We are extremely proud to announce the cooperation of these singers: Loyiso Bala, Stef Bos, Josie Fields, Monique Hellenberg, Larry Joe, Zolani Mahola, Mapumba, Neo Muyanga, Yoav Sadan, Samite joined by a Childrens Choir made up of 3 Kayelitsha Schools - Nolungile Primary School, Chuma Educare, Noluthando Pre Primary School.
Musicians featured include: Daniel Eppel, mapumba, Peter Ndlala, Frank Paco, Michael Rennie, Julio Sigauque, Ronan Skillen, Aron Turest-Swartz, James Van Minnen.
The Song was written by a collaboration of Zolani Mahola, Michael Rennie and Aron Turest-Swartz and produced by a team including Marc Algranti, Daniel Eppel, Clara Tilve and Murray Anderson.
With special thanks to The Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Santam for supporting the production of this beautiful track. Also we are grateful to all the superb artists, musicians and production team that helped make this a reality.
