And I've heard & seen Filipino singers, too. Two of them. Lea Salonga, the Broadway star, and Lani Misalucha, Las Vegas' "Siren of the Strip" who shared an award with Celine Dion. They are indeed impressive.

Lea Salonga was the main lead person for Miss Saigon. She also sang Disney's Aladdin, 'A whole new world' (the cartoon version).. I think =p

Yep. She was also the singing voice of Disney's Mulan. Obviously, I'm not the only Lea fan on youtube. lol

Oh yeah, I'm already familiar with Charice. She's a very talented girl. There are a ton of talented Filipina singers. I couldn't possibly name them all. Sheryn Regis, Nina, Kyla, etc. Like I said, Filipina singers just seem like they're born to sing.
