  • fiberglass sucks use cellulose. Fiberfilter still allows air to move through it.

  • What about blocking and some type of sealant compound to prevent air infiltration from the garage to the living space? You should check DOE website for proper airsealing/insulation tecniques.

  • Insulation needs to be in contact with the surface being insulated. If the insulation shown in this video is hanging down at the lower level of the joists without completely filling the space above it air will flow above it and reduce its effectiveness
