O Pato, Lisa Ono

"O Pato" (Song of the Duck) by Lisa Ono, written by Jaime Silva and Neuza Teixeira. "Quem Quem Quem...O Pato!" (A much loved Brazilian tune made popular by Joao Gilberto)

This version, by Lisa Ono, a lovely Japanese Bossa Nova Singer. Lisa grew up in Brazil, studied there, and collaborated with many amazing musicians including Tom Jobim, Caetano Veloso, and Oscar Castro Neves.

The montage for "O Pato" includes related cartoon and animation photos, including the Disney film, "Saludos Amigos" which has beautiful hand drawn animation of Brazil. The film features "Donald" who meets "Ze Carioca" (Carioca Joe). There he is introduced to "Cachaca" , Ze's beautiful lands, and music of Samba and Bossa Nova. Carmen Miranda appears in the film and sings "Tico Tico No Fuba" (Choro song of the Brazilian Tico Bird) which is also referenced in the lyrics of "O Pato"
