A wildly popular minstrel tune from the early 1840's. We recorded this in the 1858 John Wornall House in Kansas City, Mo. The painting behind us is the famous depiction of the 1863 Order #11, painted by George Caleb Bingham, which de-populated several western counties in Missouri, in an attempt to deprive partisan pro-southern guerrillas of their base of operations.
