English 240: Poetry mapping of William Carlos Williams's poem "A Red Wheelbarrow." The mapping utilizes the first line of the poem, "So much depends on" and travels throughout history to see what has shaped society tremendously. The Red Wheelbarrow represents the foundation of America, the establishment of agriculture that changed the economy and values of our nation. Therefore, so much truly depended upon a mere red wheelbarrow. My mapping shows other examples of significant events that have as well impacted moments in time. Enjoy!
