@Milkpaw Technically, Ianto has died three times. It's probable that he would have died in the year that never was, but as that "never was", he was thankfully brought back to life. In Doctor Who, (Turn Left), Rose says that Ianto Jones and Gwen Cooper gave their lives to save the world. And then he also died (which I wish never ever ever ever happened) in Children of Earth. Which means that Ianto has died more than Owen. Bless Ianto, bless him! I do so hope is is brought back.

I'm all for the 'CoE took place in a different universe after Jack exploded under the highly volatile Rift so now we can return to the real one and have Yantoez back' theory. Srsly. It's not Torchwood without Ianto.
