http://drivencarreviews.com/ Say the word "hybrid" and most people automatically think of Prius. VW's first hybrid is a very luxurious and capable SUV. Tom Voelk takes a look at it's fuel economy and features to see if it's worth the price premium.

  • @jeffharro1 Thanks much Jeff. No, not a YT partner. Not sure why. Sort of a chicken and egg thing, can't be a partner if you aren't popular, can't be popular if you aren't a partner.

  • why would you pay 60000 dollars for the hybrid when the diesel is much cheaper and more efficient?

  • @juukame and petrol v6 and v8 are very thirsty

  • @juukame some places like hong kong do not have diesels

  • @besteli1 Ever heard of saabkyle04?

  • I would never paid 61k for vw. I would for BMW or Audi or Lexus.

  • too pricey for Volkswagen

  • I found this channel today and I've watched so many videos, the best reviewers, now I'm subscribed :]

  • everything is great, except for the price. $61K ???

  • hybrid costs more same reason as solid state drives cost more then regular hard drive theyre new and youre paying for the idea of it to cover the costs of building them may be theyll become cheaper later as more people buy the hybrid variants its that simple

  • Here's me clicking the "like button" ... Click! Haha!

  • Nice review, thumbs up. 60k+ for a VW is a bit nuts, I prefer the TDI more but over 50k is also quite expensive for that iteration. I could buy 2x JSW TDI for that price. JSW TDI is great btw, wife's car which she loves. Personally I would love to see a 3.0 TDI offered in Q5 for the USA.....dare to dream
