Seattle was going to resign Kemp. He got mad demanded a trade because they were taking too long on offering him an extension.

Seattle trade Shawn Kemp was the worst thing. Shawn got mad, of course. Seattle signed a tall white guys to 3 years for $36 millions and give Shawn nothing. Even after he already did many goods for Sonics.
