@krypekeeper no, these are mostly from the 60's en 70's. only a few are from the 80's.

I don't like sony, i just finished a TA-N80 and TA-E80 ES from sony. These are sony's biggest and finest....

I don't want sony equipment for free !!!

Great collection! Just curious, are you familiar with the MR-235 receiver from the time that Marantz was bought out? If so, I'm curious about your opinion of it. I have that receiver and like it, but as I haven't heard any of the older models I was wondering how it compared. Thanks!

@jcg75 yes, It's a cheaper version of the 2200B series.

The 2200B are already cheaper made.  The Mr 235 is not bad, but usually the FM tuners crap out due to bad caps and bad stereo decoders. Sound great..

There is a capacitor 400vac 0.022uF or 0.1uF parallel to the power switch. You need to replace it for the ticks and plops when switching it on. But these model do need a litlle bit of time to stabilize (capacitors in power supply) make the plop sound when switching on.

@nokia3210fuck The smaller ones like the 1060 1030 very good sound, and the B versions 1122DC1152DC 1180DC=(3250B 170DC)

For the more clean sound you got the American build model like the 1200B and such

I needed a good laugh...reading the comments ...came across the one stating that a new Sony sounds better..laugh OUT LOUD! SONYS ARE JUNK TODAY! I've collected for years...only problem i have ever had was after buying second hand Sony receivers for surround sound. My first receiver was a Marantz

...almost 40 years later it is stiil going strong! That is reality of the state of affairs as the collector here certainly knows.
