  • Let's call it what it is: The pussification of America.

  • I attempted this style of commentary despite the clear warning label. I pulled 13 muscles, broke 4 bones, poked my own eye out and sprained my brain.

This was a bad idea. I should have listened and left it to the professionals.

  • The cause-effect relationship between nanny-state safety measures and risky behavior has been studied for many decades.

In engineering and in economics it is called the "Peltzman Effect"

  • america is ....i don't knwo.....over??? money of other??? which american dream???

    wha??? how is obama??

  • Letting kids fuck themselves up when theyre young and mend easy saves a lot of problems when they get older. You cant learn your doing something wrong until you do it wrong. Worked for me. As a kid I ruptured my eye, broke my pelvis, fractured my leg, dislocated both ankles, almost severed my fingers with a circular saw, got hit by cars a couple of times, been electricuted, had a few concussions, etc. As an adult, Ive never had any car accidents and I cant remember the last time I was injured.

  • @kfargidon The Army has been pussified in the same way.

  • I have 4 wonderful children. None of them were mollycoddled or overly protected. My wife & I have stressed situational awareness & CONTROL over your fears, not Ignoring your fear. Yes there have been some injuries along the path.

My kids have all (nearly) grown up with a strong get & give it a go attitude, as well as active sport and social lives.

They all have jobs, are well adjusted and happy. I'm also proud to say my son has been accepted into the Army.

Balance in all things is the key.

  • "Jackass" "Weenies" and this was BEFORE the Weiner scandal...Brilliant.

  • @banzubie, you should have asked two Democrats to experiment first...

  • I wouldn't mind being famous, but it shouldn't hurt.

  • BOYS OF TODAY HAD BETTER GROW A PAIR OF BALLS. KICK THE ASS OF EVERY TORT LAWYER YOU MEET. JOIN THE ARMY. LEARN TO BE A MAN. YOU PUSSIES MAKE ME NAUSEOUS. YOU'RE A DISGRACE TO HUMANITY IN GENERAL, AND TO MANHOOD IN PARTICULAR.

  • PUSSIES!!!!
