I think Mother 3 is much more suited for the GBA. It looks much more similar to Mother and Mother 2 and helps keep the feel of the series. Nowadays, the N64 models don't look so hot, so using sprites helps the game much better too imo.

The game turned out beautifully on the GBA, with the great spriting and all. It's just a shame that all of the developers' hard work and time (not to mention money) ended up not working out.
