  • good comment.this is superlative.I've commented on other versions of this track on you tube ..it's brilliant.when `i first bought this album , 30 years ago , i really wasn't sure, but wyou see the stage show with the music, you realise how extraordinary it is, and i believe Tull's masterpiece

  • this part of passion play blew me away when it first came out....back in 73 (i was in fifth grade then). And it still stands up 40 yrs later....has this surreal, sophisticated and futuristic vibe to this day....not to mention its seamless mix of poppiness and complexity. From a band of fairly consistent genuis....this one is so timeless its downright scary. those tempo jumbles.....no one EVER did anything like that since.

  • I just sat through all six parts. I'd forgotten just how good this is!

  • Brothers, they don't make music like this anymorre I'm sorry to say.

    It's all dilluted now.

    This music moves me!

  • Oh I see, well I can't wait to see it then! Thanks for informing me UW2, I'll be looking froward to seeing that.

  • Actualy, I have a WAYYYY better audio recording of a 73 concert.

I'm currently getting a passion play 73 tour footage in the mail, I'm going to sync some of it and upload it to youtube to show how great the quality is... UW2

  • Ian's announcement after 90 minutes of Thick As A Brick, including stage gags: "And now, for our second number..."

  • This is one of my favorite parts of this album. The acoustic guitar leading into Barre's electric crescendo with Anderson's sigature flute jams! Where's that damn time machine!?!?!?!

  • Pretty damn awesome. Just the quality, the sound alike. But I guess this is the best as its gonna get.

  • THE MASTER!
