I am with you on the annoying assessment. I tried, got annoyed and uninstalled all within 30 minutes. :) However I do see a use for it on netbooks, saves a lot of screen real estate.

that Gnome global menu is perfect if you wanna give your desktop the full on mac look if you use mac4lin themes and icons. :)

Hmm, Mint linux uses xfce or is that gnome with an xfce file browser? I've started using gnome because it has more features, and eyecandy, but it seems to lag, compared to xfce. And what you're using seems like I would use kde, but they've butchered it with kde4.

just got it today, a bit annoying at 1st. But is growing on me. Hopefully ill get use to it.
