  • Hmm, Mint linux uses xfce or is that gnome with an xfce file browser? I've started using gnome because it has more features, and eyecandy, but it seems to lag, compared to xfce. And what you're using seems like I would use kde, but they've butchered it with kde4.

  • just depends which version u get. Im using gnome and is nautilus not the thundar file broswer

  • Do you like the global menu? I loved it when I switched to OS X.

  • just got it today, a bit annoying at 1st. But is growing on me. Hopefully ill get use to it.

  • @hamza98888 It's linux made to look like windows. Combines the slick polished look of win7 with the stability of linux.

  • there is a question what is the best windows or linux???

  • I am with you on the annoying assessment. I tried, got annoyed and uninstalled all within 30 minutes. :) However I do see a use for it on netbooks, saves a lot of screen real estate.

  • greatly prefer the mac method

  • that Gnome global menu is perfect if you wanna give your desktop the full on mac look if you use mac4lin themes and icons. :)

  • Yes, you have to click that shit :-P

Good video, and thanks for putting it up.

  • Thanks I got it to work :D Its perfect with mac 4 lin.

  • Hey, I used Wubi to install ubuntu but how did you get all of those cool effects with the mouse and the windows and stuff?
