I've seen the same thing in Auckland New Zealand on the 23/12/09. There five of these strange lights just slowing moving across the sky. Really interesting coz its been seen all over the world. Crazy shit man.

OMG in the midlands I saw this! We were at work and the chef was going home, and she came back inside and was like "come quick, look at the sky" and there were these slow moving orange lights!! Are these the same things!! We were in Leicestershire!!

Ken Parsons from BEAMS - The British Earth and Aerial Mysteries Society here. I can tell viewers that this is a real phenomenon. In fact we have filmed something remarkably similar, (even better towards end of video), from Farnborough, looking out over Guildford. Can't seem to upload it here though...but will give it another try or two.

Saw something similar a coupla nights ago 23:15 at GU16 Frimley. Bright, noisless singularity, similar appearance. Completely straight path accross half the sky then disappeared. Far too low for a satellite, even a lower earth orbit one. In any case it was the wrong position to be reflecting back the sun's rays. West to Easterly direction.
