Video Driving Lesson 18 Deal with Traffic Calming measures

Road narrowing, central islands and chicanes.
Roads may be narrowed by 'build outs' on one or both sides of the road.
You will be shown warning signs indicating which side of the road narrowing occurs.
Give way road marking and road signs will advise priority.
You should not accelerate as you approach the narrowing, but be prepared to slow down or stop if necessary.
Don't try and squeeze through at the same time as cyclists or motorcylists. Hold back and allow them room to pass.
