This is part one of a still picture/animation I made based on a Hmong folklore called Mah. Mah is a young Hmong girl in Laos who discovers a strange plant and is able to weave it into yarn. Her life is turned upside down when she meets the love of her life, only to lose him. This is a story of tragedy that sparked a Hmong tradition for generations to come; a story of Mothers and daughters.
