My new remix. This time it's from Shinichi Osawa's - Dreamhunt song. I consider the original a masterpiece but then I listened to the little riff at the end of the song and I fell in love instantly.

So I decided to remix the song and give the riff the importance it deserved. Hope you like it! ;)

  • Sorry but this doesnt really do any justice to the original. All you did was mix sections of the song together without changing it at all. You could probley get away with calling it an edit but no remix. Shinichi Osawa is god though

  • Well, I understand what do you mean. I wish I had knowledge and equipement necessary to make a proper remix. Even though you can call it an edit, I think the tone of the song changes well enough to be called a remix.

That's the main reason why I called it puzzled Mix. I just took the pieces which formed the original song and put them together ina different order obtaining, IMHO, a different tone with the song.

Anyways, I'm also glad you commented it as I'm open to any kind of criticism ;)

  • omg you mixed it fantasic with the 2 parts I wanted! this is grate! :D

  • Thanks! ;)

    I'm glad you like it.

  • I agree, the riff you refer to in the song is fantastic. I mean the whole song in general was amazing but yeah. Great song, great remix, nice job.

  • Thanks! ;)

  • it's actually pretty good. it takes out the hyper parts of the song. i enjoy chilling sometimes this will do the trick, unless i'm listening to the wrong part? I think he just combined shinichi's riff with rubies singing which is fine in itself.

  • Im glad you made it. : )

  • Nice response. What I loved about the original was the pacing of the song, that it changed and evolved with progression. Looping two parts for seven minutes is not really benifiting it in anyway.

Ok now that is out of the way. It is really good to see you trying out editing and mixing, especialy after great artist like Shinichi.

We all start somewhere and this is not something you get good at over night. Hell if you took this concept with more ideas, you could have an amazing remix going

  • this version is just as beautiful as the original! thanks for the upload
