SMW2+2 - 11 - Welcome to the Jungle World

2-1: Welcome to the Jungle

This level title appears to be based off the original 3-1, though that title was better. (I'm not sure if it's also a reference to something non-YI, though, as many of the titles are.)

Anyway, as I do not know the layout of these levels that well, I've decided to use checkpoint savestates for less inconvenience after route errors...

But to use them, I need to actually notice the Middle Rings first-- the levels are short, and the items are easy to find, so I end up not paying attention to them.

(Except for the flower at 0:51. SMW2+2's items are rarely hidden that well-- that one was unexpected. I believe 2-1 was one of the last 100%s on in my first playthrough.)

I think the title's supposed to be a Guns 'n Roses reference ("Welcome to the Jungle" is the name of a Guns 'n Roses song).

Least, that's what I always figured (don't want to put words in Golden Yoshi's/Jacob's mouth)
