Breaking News update 1/23/2012
Geomagnetic Storm Watch: The latest Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) should impact our geomagnetic field within the next 12-16 hours. The SWPC issued a Geomagnetic Storm watch for Jan 24. Strong geomagnetic storming will be possible. Stay Tuned to MRhurricanetracker.webs.com, where you will get all of the latest updates promptly.
Updated From the SWPC: The radiation storm that began early this morning has continued to rise very slowly throughout the day but has remained at the S3 (Strong) level. It should be at or near its peak and is expected to begin to decrease soon. We are still awaiting the arrival of the Coronal Mass Ejection which is still expected at about 9am EST (1400 GMT) on Tuesday. The SWPC forecast is for Moderate (G2) level geomagnetic storming with G3 levels possible.
I also think we should be on the look out for earthquaeks even during and after the storm passes. Please make sure you stay tuned to MrHurricaeTracker.
Just had a flash back to my days at Camp Lejeune; "Another Drill?""No it's the real thing." Just wish I could afford to give to the Families in Talledaga, AL. It used to be just South Alabama got ourselves smacked around by Hurricanes. Fellow Statesmen were always coming down to volunteer. It's gonna be a wild year, but it's going fast.
