  • Hey FrugalGuitarist. I also checked you out on the Bugera V22 page. I got a chance to try the Peavey Bandit today, and was pretty impressed! No stores here carry the Bugera, but I'm able to order it in if I want. Do you have any insight/recommendations for any of these amps? Any pros and cons for each amp? Do you prefer one over the other? Looking forward to seeing more videos. Thanks!

  • @MrNatt Well, each have their individual strengths but their tones are so different that I wouldn't really think they would be direct competition for each other. The Bandit is my personal choice between the 2 simply because of it's incredibly high clean head room. You can visit FG to read in depth reviews of both amps.

  • which pickup are those???

  • nice phrasing on the licks and the sound is very clear, very good altogether , you almost forget it's 12 bar cheers Allan

  • fender frontman vs bandit 112??

    winner??

  • @claybreaker12gauge that's the latest bandit, wich came out like 2008 i think

  • Got here from the article on your website. I'm a fan of bang-for-the-buck and DIY gear as well (got some videos on that subject on my channel)

You got some great tones indeed. I sold my bandit because I though it sounded "icepicky" at louder settings, and I couldn't get a good gritty-clean tone. Guess the grass is greener on the other side.

Truth be told, I must have played like 300 gigs with it and it never failed me. It's a tank.

  • guitar Shelter sx sst 57???

  • love that bandit tone!
