  • Just like to say that two years after I did this video all of these houses have been sold and the neighborhood is OK. Thankfully they stopped building soon after I did this vid.

  • I love this video. You did a good job. it is real and almost like an adventure. that little neighborhood is depressing. i think i would cry if i lived there today. no signs of life anywhere.

  • airydiva, as of January 31, 2009, every one of these houses was sold.

  • LISTEN PEOPLE.

What you have to understand is that putting "SOLD" signs on unsold houses is a normal SCAM by Realtors in order to make people think others are buying. The Real-t-whores goal is to make you feel you "better buy now before it's too late". This is almost a GIVEN if the houses/condos are IDENTICAL MODELS. We have some condos down the street. Half have a 'SOLD' sign in the window. NOT ONE UNIT HAS SOLD. It's a common real-t-whore trick. I know all their other tricks too. CC me. 8)

Didn't pull any equity, refi'd to lock it down at 4% APR a little bit ago, and the house went up 6% last year. The market will bop up and down, but barring a total collapse, I am glad to be where I'm at. These videos and all the foreclosures I see make me laugh at the naive "It's only going to go up,up, up" logic that was...

  • Stuff like this happened here in sunny southern california! I drive buy all these houses that aren't getting bought up. There might not be huge animals dying but little bunnies!

  • I know, I just moved back to California, moving to TEXAS was a big mistake, the palce is worst then Texas, Texas is a waste of money. Buying a houseb in TEXAS is like buying a CHEVROLET, devaluates as soon as you walk out, but TAXES and lack of public services is the worst, there are none!!

  • For the skeptics out there I live in Katy our homes have been under value for years. in both west and north of Houston we are still growing there are no homes for sale in my neighborhood so I still have to pay the high property tax

  • That's good news! Could you do another video so we can see the updated version of the area? I hope that poor possum made it out of there.....
