i say you go for the wrx, it handles better and its faster.
rsx-s is not that different from a regular rsx, except looks, but id go for the wrx.. im thinking of getting one too.

Miss my 04 : (

which one did u go with

Vtec, it's like waiting for really bad sex, or turbo lag without the boost, Get the WRX, you will be much happier!
-
im planning to buy an 04 Subaru Impreza WRX, for 15,000$.. probably going to pay monthly for it, and it'll be a used car.

04 wrx they are better hands down and have very strong blocks for plenty of modification

dang =|, i still can't decide which to get, 05 rsx-s or the 2004 wrx impreza. I like both for looks, impreza for it's AWD and sound, rsx-s for its vtec sound and small size
think a stock wrx impreza can beat a 05 rsx-s?
Spec = 210hp 140tq [listed on edmund]

You should test drive both and determine which one you would rather have.

What gear do they usually floor it?

As far as I know, most dyno pulls are done on WRXs using third gear.

uh. im confused... thought it was 220 hp..?

Most horsepower numbers you read are examples of horsepower at the engine crank, not at the wheels. Because of drivetrain loss, which is greater on all-wheel drive vehicles (~20-25%) than FWD or RWD vehicles, the horsepower at the wheels is much lower.
